When our vehicles arrive on site, they often hold a full load (12m³) however you will only pay for what you use so you can never really under or over order. Often a mix design will be specified by your Architect, Site Engineer or Building Control officer. The design will be determined by the end use and strength requirement. How long does it take for the concrete to set?
Concrete will normally set within 8 hours however this is entirely dependent on the mix design. Admixtures such as Accelerator will speed up the process. We advise the client to allow 12 – 48 hrs drying time and it can take longer than this for the concrete to reach full strength.
How much does the concrete / screed cost?
The cost of concrete and screed is dependent on a number of factors including mix design, admixtures, delivery location / timing, laying option and quantity. At DMix we aim to be the most competitively priced provider in the market. For a free no obligation estimate, based on your specific requirements, please contact a member of our sales team.
